Homemade headers... what you think?

Here's a couple of picture of the homemade headers I'm making for my truck. Their not finished, yet. They'll be longer with glass pack mufflers and a turn out on the end. WYT!

 

They look pretty good from the front, but from the back, well, I dunno, they look maybe a bit thin. Probably 'cos it's a partial car pic.

Hell, I've never built headers, so I could be talking shit

They're my first. Their 1 1/2 into 2 1/4. Maybe I should have gone with the 1 3/4, but what the hell I have a whole $40 invested in the pipe for the headers. I got the idea for them off some Buick header I saw on ebay. I'm still thinking of redoing them and using megaphone in place of the 2 1/4 pipe.

 

I reckon fatter pipe will do the trick, and you'll probably have a bigger bend radius too.
