Homemade lowering blocks ?

    I thought that was half of the reason we do what we do. I would rather make my own stuff than buy it.

  4. Be sure to check your drive shaft clearances under your frame cross braces and possibly your floor board clearances before you drive it.

    Cap them, BUT make it so the end pieces fits INSIDE the tubing. Chamfer the edges first before inserting. Then weld.

    Consider doing it this way

    Use 2 x 4 x 120 and turn the tube the other way
    Cut to amount of drop you want
    Cut one end on a angle if need be (to change angle)
    Cap ends (hole in one, locating stud in the other)

    If you cap the ends be sure to seal up the top pin so you don't have to deal with water getting in....
