Folks Of Interest Honoring a fellow hotrodder

Last week John Whaley a hot rodder from Pierre South Dakota that I got to know over the years died while driving his model A sports coupe to my clubs reliability run. Today was his funeral so I took off in the dark at 5:30 and drove half way across our state of South Dakota to his memorial. 421 round trip miles. Hope to see you again John Whaley.

Thanks for posting. I had the pleasure of hanging out and road tripping with John many times years ago but hadn't seen him in a long time. A big shock to hear what happened. Moral: Don't wait until "someday"....
