Looks like some Crown Vic type of wheels. Great looking car.

Wow FifT, that looks gorgeous. I've been meaning to PM you for an update and like everyone else has said it looks great.

Without publicly exposing your secrets, how are you going with the trim??

Oh Yea, that is sweet, now we will be waiting for the all together with all the shiny stuff on it photos. Add me to the list of those who like your design touches. They really sneak up on you they are so well done.

I keep liking those Vics better all the time.

Picked up headlights and taillights today. MUCH better!

Yes, they are. I've never seen them used on a custom and wanted to try them. Nobody wants them, so they're generally cheap.

Rear seat is original white '64 T-Bird and FILTHY. I hope it will clean up OK. Buckets are from the same, but have been re-covered with repop kits. I haven't seen them yet. Carpet, side panels and console will be kluged up somehow for the time being; probably a carpet kit and some spray paint. The real upholstery will have to wait a while.

I'm pretty sure that Flatattack was asking about the interior, but the side trim is '55 Customline. Supposed to look like this (John Vernon rendering):

I drive by that shop every day on the way home from work and saw your car outside a few days back. looks like the same day they took those pics.

The chrome stuff is going to look fantastic next to that color.

Interesting choice for the dash color. But I've seen your cars and know that you know how to put colors together, so it makes me very curious to see the rest of the interior come together.

That thing is like Mel Torme...

Only a 'Silver Fog' instead of velvet... I haven't seen the interior yet though... :)

Another flawless Car from Mr. Fraud.

    Great job!

Another thing that just came to me... You know what would look amazing on that color?

Some of the copper toned ornaments used on old fords... Gold-tones would stand out something fierce on that color...

I doubt that's in the plans but just an observation.

Almost done. Still a few odds and ends left, but I expect to be at Paso Maria with it.

That is looking nice. the more I look at it the more things I notice that you have done to it that just blend in with everything else on it so nicely.
This, folks is what a mild custom is supposed to be all about. Making a showroom stocker look like it has something wrong with it when it sits beside it.

Couple more of the front details. Parking light lenses are not yet in. I'm not ready to show the rear just yet:

Actually, the more I look at that color, the more I like it. Is it a custom mix or a factory color?

Great job. who did the painting?

  30. The rendering hints at the use of '55-'56 Mercury Wagon tail lights...I've thought about doing this on my '56 T-bird...did you find originals or use the reproductions? Lenses?

    Car is looking beautiful!
