Hot Rods hood hinges

i recently purchased a new set of hood hinges for my 56 delivery , and all i looked at that were new , dont have the springs attached ! anyone have any experience at putting these on ??

Best you change your p*** word at the same time, it's about as complicated.

 

Clamp one end in your vice, bend it over and insert washers. Keep doing so until it is long enough to attach. Don't forget to remove the washers.

 

I use a floor jack to spread them, then insert washers.
