Projects Hood Moulding retainers 49 to 52 Chevy

Hi Guy's

Does anyone know of a source for the hood moulding clips for 49 thru 52 chevy sedans. Its the clips that go through the center of the hood and hold the center moulding in place. I've checked Chevy's of the 40's, Filling station etc and the famous auction site with no luck.

If all else fails, you could make them out of sheet metal. I have some pretty bent up ones if you want them.

 

I checked their online catalog and they were not listed there.

 

How bent up are they? I destroyed mine taking the strip off.
