Technical Hood side panels ?

    I picked up a couple of hood side panels but I have never seen any quite like this. Does anyone recognize what they might fit? Thanks for your input.

    lack of a hinge or handles suggests industrial application

    I'd go along with them being off something industrial or low production like a fire truck. The louvers would look rather interesting in hood sides on a T modified if you cut them down to fit and if they can be salvaged.

    Tractors generally never had hood sides, but many industrial type machines did.
    Could also be from a larger truck. They were often removed for better cooling/airflow
     
  11. Not to my knowledge (@VANDENPLAS is the resident expert on all things Dodge) but I'm sure some were built by farmers out of old Dodges, just as they were from old Fords, etc.

    they existed !!!!

    the mighty Dodge brand is woven through society and human existence since the dawn of time .:D:D:D
    Their is a far more powerful reason then anyone can explain as to why , it’s always a f#%king Dodge !!!!

    Tells you something about Dodges styling when they look better as a tractor than a truck. :p:D

    I'm kidding of course, I love the ingenuity of the day to do that stuff.
