i don't know if there is a proper name for this, but I'd like to put 'side scoops' on the sides of my hood. i've never done it and was wondering how guys usually go about making them. my initial thought was to use a spare hood and cut a section out of the curve on both sides and attach them to the good hood but not sure if that is the simplest way or not. also, if i do the scoops, is it best to cap them off or make them functional? i don't want to get all kinds of debris/rain water/etc. crammed in the scoops when I'm driving. thoughts?
