FYI....I found a place in Derry NH called SMS Auto Restoration Services. They take the hood hinges and replace the rivets, which 99% of the time is the cause. However I was the 1% that this did not cure the problem. I sent them back and they (without an additional charge), found springs for the hood hinges….and they worked.
