Love this car. Great vision. May I sugest three things that will make this car even better. The tach. May I suggest a vintage SW. That one seems too modern for the style of the car. Second, the rear wheel discs look out of place. I think a wheel made to look similar ro the fronts would be better. I like the looks of the rears without the discs. Are they alloy? Or have your buddy make up some rears when you can afford it. Third, A sprint car style (Bell) would looks tits in there. Hope you don't take my suggestions wrong as it is your baby. Great job man. I loved following this thread. Congrats! Give me the lowdown on that steering box(Mopar, What year? It's really cool)
EPIC! That nose gear MAKES this car. The way it's done will fool a lot of people as to the origins of this car. VERY well done my friend.
All that and a Culver city quickchange would be cool.. All of this has been built on a budget. I've got $50.00 in the rear wheels. 18 inch Astro van spares and pizza pans. To do them up right would be $1,500.00 or more. Refinements can come in time,I'll enjoy it now for what it is.The steering gear is mopar A body.(?) Thanks for the suggestions and I appreciate the compliment.
way to go! cant wait to see this out on the road! Progress is looking really good. cant wait to see the great Hoodlem debut.
Put the belly pans on again for final fit. I don't know how many times the body has been off and on. From the rear It may seem a long, maybe boaring process building this car.. I guess a thread on a homebuilt hotrod shows the time it takes to accomplish the task. Feels good to be this far along. Thanks to all these South Omaha Turds for their continued support.
Man, it's great to see this all straight and in primer. You are moving right along, and have some great friends there helping you out! Great to see ya at the Halloween party the other night, too. Thanks for coming over!
woo hoo, thats sure is nice. now comes the scary part. getting it back together without scratching anything.your deadline is looking good.
