Hello! Looks great under the lights at the WOW, Dick. Had to stop some jackass yesterday when he was reaching in the car and messing with things.
The whole build and the car are absolutely perfect! That is the coolest hand built car I've ever seen!
This car needs to be in magazines. I can just see it on the salt flats in some photo shoot........after it sets a land speed record of course.
My brother Steve lives in Salt Lake. He's an extreme athlete type person.Sleeps overnight suspended from frozen waterfalls and such.He also is a videotographer and a musician. He makes really cool video. The plans are to go to Salt Lake in August and let him do what he does.I'm looking forward to it. Crazy brother,ot but you can check this out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKX4HXGd6G8&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBkGjwhUoK4&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6hxsKR5x24&NR=1
sleeps from frozen waterfalls? WTF? he sounds "ghostly"....must run in the family. But sounds like a great idea on the video shoot.
I've been spending some time doing some alterations to the Hoodlum. The car was really tight in the cockpit and if you were taller than 5'6" you were not going to be able to drive it. So, to make more room to make it drivable for a taller person I've set about making some changes. I pulled the 235 and am installing a 327 powerglide. I gained enough room to get someone 6 foot in it and able to work the pedals. I added some side panels to keep some of the heat out. Had to change the steering box out for a reversed Corvair. Moved the brake master cylinder to accommodate the new pedal location. The fire wall is a good 5" farther forward than it was with the 235. I've got a ton of cleanup work to do getting rid of the previous motor and tranny mounts.

Bringing it up again. Sure do miss this guy here. Life is too damn short. Anyone know the status of the Hoodlum today ? One of the best builds on the HAMB. Dick Warsocki always had some cool stuff, going. Amazing guy.
