Got off on the wrong foot here, thought I would start over properly. My first car was a '69 galaxie and I would give a nut to have it back. That car was indestructable (trust me I tried). Been a car nut ever since. Currently on my third Mustang after a brief newborn son fueled Dodge Intrepid phase. Why Hoof? My daily driver, my first real project, is a '98 Saleen replica Mustang convertible, and my toddler said "hoof" for horse and it stuck. I finally got a garage/shop built and I want to build a hot rod! I have a good work space, I even have an old FMC alignment rack to use as a lift. I have a lot to learn, and I am studying as much as I can. I am going to start off using a F1 PU chassis and cab to make a bare bones rod, and go from there. If that turns out OK, then I will feel more comfortable sinking some real money into something with a little more "polish." This board seems to be where the people who know what they are talking about hang out, hope I can take advantage of all your experience and knowledge. Thanks, Hoof
OK, now I feel like I can really be a member, I brought home a project today. 1950 F1 chassis and two cabs. I will start a thread and post pics (not much to look at) tomorrow. CHAZ
