I have a project that will be using the bucket seats and console from a 65 Coronet but will be using a later Torque flite trans, the 65 trans is still basically a push button trans that has two cables going to the shifter. Does anyone know if there is a linkage/cable kit to do this or am I on my own and will have to fabricate what is needed

I had a 65 Coronet that I wanted a later Torqueflight in it as you do for better torque converter availability. Mine was a Coronet 500 with the buckets and console. I couldn't find a way to use the 2 cable shifter. I had some extra console pieces and cut one of the top plates out and used a B&M Shifter- on the later model trans. I hated that shifter!! Real POS for street use. I have since sold the car and gave new owner all the original stuff to go back to in case he wanted. I'll see if I can find a pic.

It might be easier/cheaper to use a 66+ shifter assembly.
