Can anyone tell me how an electric fan works? It has two wires coming from the Fan...I am wondering how to wire it up since the car or engine didnt have an electric fan on them before. I know I will need some sort of Temp Sender to hook to the engine and a Relay but thats about all I know about it. Thanks for any help

If your fan is like most, it will run clockwise and counter clockwise, by changing the power lead from one wire to the other. Yes you need a relay, a thermostat (adjustable is best) and a circuit breaker. The circuit breaker first, then the relay and thermostat. The other wire goes to ground.

If this is a secondary fan you could just wire it to a switch.

Looks like a good choice for a relay kit, always run relays with electric fans and electric fuel pumps for safety.
