How are ya'll in DFW? We dodged this one in north Texas (W.F. area). Saw on the weather channel how bad it was down there Hope everyones ok. For that matter, hope the folks at OKC are alright, too. Lots of hail and high winds just south and north of here. Be safe out there.
Passed throug here about 40 minutres ago. Got kinda harry for alittle while, made it through it. I think over towards fot worth got it the worst and all those fans a the nascar race
i was in haltom city about 10 minutes before the twister hit!! i had no idea it was gonna be that bad. that storm was movin!!! i drove all the way home (valley view) with those clouds chasing me!
Haltom City along highway 121 got the worst of it. I really tore up plenty of buildings, a warehouse full of 53' trailers stacked up like a pile of wood. Hail pea sized to baseball size. Not Good !!! The Texas Motor Speedway was missed except for winds and rain. Everything here in South Fort Worth is now calm. 68Ragtop
Baseball size hail right down the street. We got baby pea size hail... I never get the good stuff! hc
Well since i live less than 10 miles from Texas motor speedway i got a little nervous but it blew off to Grapevine instead of Flower Mound area. I grew up in WF and my parents said Holiday got some pretty good size hail.
Mesquite has a bunch of twisted, ripped, and split trees on a few streets. I got my chainsaw ready to make some hot rod money tomorrow.
Was ugly for awhile ... just west of Denton ,,, rained like double 90 little hail , wind BIG rain ,, we be ok ! looked real bad !
Glad to hear ya'll are ok. Seymour, TX got hit big time with baseball size hail. Wiped out a Ford dealership, busted windows at the hospital,BIG mess. Stay safe out there.
Son in laws new truck got beat up pretty bad, made him sick, i'm shure my carport and rear porch got it to.
We were actually in Parkland Hsopital when it went down. I was with the kids and we were racing toward the storm to get to the parking garage. As soon as we stepped foot in the hospital doors a lemon size chunk of ice hit right at our heels. Then the hospital went on "code black" or whatever and we were shooed in to a waiting room and all the doors were shut.. it was like some sort of lockdown... but other than that we escaped anything serious.
