Did a search without much success. So I came looking for help from the internet garage gods.

Looking for a body wood hardware kit for a 1930 Model A Tudor. I have the wood kit, in place on the car, but no hardware(no wood or hardware came with the car when purchased. It was a desert shell).

Same car, also looking for a source to buy the rear quarter windows rain gutter down by the subrails. Can't seem to find any.

Again, same car, looking for anyone who knows where to get the inner door panel the the window regulator and door handle mount to. Or do folks just make their own? Mine are cracking down along the mounting flange to the door structure.

Car was a shell, with doors, when I bought it. No wood left in it at all.

Hamb Classified search...some of the Model A Stores like Macs might sell just a hardware kit...I guess your talking brackets and nuts/bolts?

Maybe some Hambers may chime in...some have stuff to move...theresa wanted section too if I'm not mistaken...

    Also Fordbarn...

@sloppy jalopies has a sizable collection of stuff...hasn't been on in a while...hope he's okay...

All the big guys have been called. A few of them didn't even know what I was asking about. I had to inform them. Seems nobody has a hardware kit(even a basic list, nuts and bolts, no brackets) for the body wood.

Check with Bratton’s . For the bolts for the wood, I just measured up what was needed and went to the hardware store.

Try Bert's model A in Denver. They'll know what you need.

My problem is I have nothing to reference. No books, no drawings, nothing. I don't have a starting point to know what holes take what kind of bolts/screws or if they don't get a bolt/screw. A kit/list would help paint the picture.

If anyone has a photo of the rain gutters by the rear sub rails I sure would love to see them.

Try getting a Ford manual for the car. Most of the hardware is going to be common stuff. Square nuts, course thread bolts, tacks.

One-drip rails are at the top of the windows, I don't know of any gutters down low. Try BERT's in Colorado he has a huge stash of original parts.

See photo. Runs from B-pillar gusset to The c-pillar. This one is cut short. Also supports the center brace for the inner panel.

Ok, I was thinking on the outside of the car. Call Berts he has all of that stuff.

You're probably going to have to find some pictures of other cars to see what goes where. Maybe there's some here on the H.A.M.B. Snyder's has a top wood hardware kit AWD-1027-MB for 30-31 Tudor. McMaster-Carr has square nuts, carriage bolts etc. I'll bet money they used a lot of the same hardware on all Model A's. As for the parts for sure talk to Bert's. Maybe some of your stuff can be repaired. There are also some good restoration books out there to.

I bought a wood kit for my 30 A Coupe...the kit came with no assembly instructions for wood or bolt location...I just had to figure it all out by going by existing pieces and some Hamb and Fordbarn...

Some wood needed rework...not a large amount but some...

Perhaps someone in a Model A club your way might be able to help...it's nice to see a sedan with all the wood intact even if rotted to assist with where stuff goes...maybe an old wrecking yard with some stuff kicking around...

@mattyrz05 perhaps if you added "1930 A Tudor" to the Title (it is editable) it may help with the responses...I suspect there are many here with A Tudors with the wood intact and exposed for sharing the info you need...

That is not a rain gutter , it is just a channel the rear side panel clip into, you can just use a pieces of flat bar, here's some pics, most of the bolts are 1/4-20 , the carriage bolts need the heads flatten on some of them
I'll make a list when I get time I have a 2 door here that is all taken apart and ready to go back together

I suppose that means you didn't read the whole post. I mentioned it in the first couple sentences...

Thanks for the photos. And the help on what I thought was a rain gutter/channel.

the reason he suggested that is because not everyone opens and reads every thread. With the info in the title people that have the info you need are more apt to read it.

I have some hardware kits for a Model A in the garage I was going to list, let me go out there and see what it fits and I’ll let you know.
