    Hello All,
It has been a while since I have updated info on my daughters 'A' project.
We were planning on building the original A engine with insert bearings, a modified cam, and a high compression head to squeak out 10 to 20 more horse power.
The cost of the machine work for the insert bearings is kicking our ***es.
I can get the added horse power with a stock Willys 4 that I have laying around.
So, after all of that, I think I might want to hop-up that Willys 4. Has anyone here done such a thing with a Willys engine?
I have seen a photo of a Hickey (sp) head for a Willys engine, but that seems to be all of the information that I can find.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I seem to remember a site belonging to a guy with a Willys powered Belly Tank in Austrailia.

Also check some of the old Jeep sites.

  3. Try earlycj5.com, they maybe able to help.

There was a couple of companies that made heads for the willy's flathead.

Good luck, should be a cool project.

the swamp buggy racers down in Florida use Willys F-heads all the time, so there must be some speed parts for them.
