horn button

Hello, I already mentioned this in my intro but could use any help I can get. Does anyone out there know how to remove the horn ****on off of a 62 econoline? I have tried but dont want to force it and break anything on the inside. Your help would be very much appreciated. any other tips on restoration and parts for this van would be great.
