So many interesting rods there! A friend raced his A roadster and sent me a video. Wish I was there to see it all in person. Thank you for sharing!
@oldsmobum I made a bunch of passes, no worries about breaking stuff when on dirt. Rev it way up and dump the clutch when the cute flag girl does her thing. My car required steering through most of the run (which made it challenging and fun). Lost in the first round of eliminations against a very strong opponent, he went to the finals.
Glad you had a good time Ron, I wanted and planned on going however the only time I could make arrangements with the to bring this home were Saturday and I want to spend father's day with my dad.... Watched it on youtube. Did anyone happen to get a photo of the blue roadster with yellow wheels? At one point in the video it was parked with a for sale sign on it. My wife loved its look and is itching for a hot rod of her own, hoping somebody got an image with the contact number on the sign. Edit: found this one on FB, cant read the sign though, anybody get one that can be read?
The first three numbers are 508, which is a Massachusetts area code I zoomed in well enough to get this much of the number clearly 508-3_ _-4051 it maybe 508 326 and that makes sense because I remember some areas in Mass have the same exchange number (326) as Roxbury NY, the next town to the south of my home town.
I'd say Robert got it right 508-326-4051 It was cruising around on Sunday and sounded good but I was paying more attention to my leaking carburetors Good luck
