I have a 1965 Nova wagon that the previous owner installed a Hot Rod Air brand a/c & heater unit in it when he built this car around 2004. I am having some issues with it and cannot find any wiring schematics anywhere. I have searched the internet and so far have come up with nothing. Just wondering if anyone might have any schematics or ideas where to look to find some. Thank you in advance.

Should be fairly generic. For compressor clutch, power comes from the battery or other 12V source (at least 3-5A). You may wish to add a fuse to this circuit if you chose to take power from an unfused source. It should be switched via a relay that is activated by the AC mode switch. Between the AC mode switch and relay, you should have a thermostat (for the evaporator), and refrigerant pressure switches (minimum a low and high pressure switch - there are some binary and trinary switches). When these switches open, power is cut to the compressor relay. Some vehicles even have a Wide Open Throttle (WOT) switch in series with the other switches to cut power to the compressor clutch at WOT. Typically fan/blower motor circuit is individually fused due to power (upwards of 20A or more) in some cases. Power can come from battery directly, or another 12V source. Power is feed to the switch, then the resistor, and then to the blower. Some manufacturers use low for low speed, orange for medium speed, and red for high speed. At least that us what we used back in the day IIRC.

Thanks Ziggster, This system is already installed and includes multiple vacuum switches and is also controlling twin radiator cooling fans through inputs it sends to the ecm, so was just hoping someone might have installed a Hot Rod Air brand system and still had the original installation instructions laying around.
