So I bought a magazine last night , Street Rod Milestones, that had a Hot Rod Bucket List It's actually a pretty good list of cars....I'm curious how many of you guys have completed the list, or how are far you so far (owned at one point in your life, not all at once) 1. Model T Bucket 2. Model A Roadster Pickup 3. Chopped & Channeled 1930-31 Model A Coupe 4. 1932 Ford Highboy Roadster 5. Deuce Coupe 6. 1933/34 Ford Three Window Coupe 7. 1940 Ford Coupe 8. Lead Slead 9. G***er 10. 1953-56 Ford F-100
There are only three on the list that I would even remotely be intrested in owning. The rest I have absolutely no desire for.
I have the '30 Model A coupe right now. It will be chopped, but not channeled. I'm too tall to pull that off comfortably! Many of those would be on my list, but I would also include a '59 El Camino and a '28/'29 Model A Roadster (early dry lakes style).
Well in 63 years ive owned all of them except the 32 hiboy, thats because i was never into hiboys. Found out early into the old cars always get a nose bleed if im high in the air. Meaning my *** has got to be low. Foot
i would have to say ill need to find a model a coop , and a lead sled , all the others i have had , or still have, nice list
I personally like a heavily chopped 33/34 5 window better than a 3 window. I have already had the T bucket, and although the others are nice I don't have much interest in owning them.
I had a '40 coupe 42 years ago, and always said "someday I'm going to have another '40 coupe. Two years ago I found one and bought it on the spot. Old guys don't regret the things we've done. We regret the things we HAVEN'T done. Buy /build a hotrod and DRIVE it!
