Hot Rod Bud Crayne

Thanks to a short comment on this board which, for some reason triggered a Google search for Bob Crayne, I ran across the above link. Took me back to reading Hot Rod in the 60's. I firmly believe reading that book sparked my interest in cars. Anyone else remember this?
