Holy ****....there really is a Speed, Kansas. I'm going to go and borrow the "Welcome to Speed" sign!! I'll take it back....I promise!
Austin rules and there's alot of neat areas represented on the hamb but I would have to go with So-Cal.
You could live in Speed, Kansas and vacation in Weed, Oregon.... Hopefully in Weed they have lots of pizza joints and fast food places
Back in the early years,SoCal ,now just about anywhere. Daytona is just famous for the Nascar stuff and definitely not Indy, its only famous for the Indy 500 track and its not even in Indy.
yep and while your up there. be sure to eat at the triple c cafe or the chubby pickle in philipsburg.
Hot Wheels has held a couple of events in Speed KS. When you go to swipe the sign, look up at the grain elevator, report back if the the huge Hot Wheels logo is still up there...
It might of started there but it sure isn't the "Capitol" of Hot Rodding ... I don't think were talking about where it started..
I would have to say Portland, Oregon. Per Capita that city has more car stuff going on than any place have ever lived.
Can not say bout where your at but on every friday nite I have a choice of a dozen cruzins and 2 of em will have 300 to 400 cars each and a couple will draw over 500 cars several times a year and a local car club puts on a show in october that has over 3000 registered cars. Not to mention GG 7000 cars,Louisville 12000 cars,James Dean 5000 cars, runs. and one of the best swapmeets in Springfield with 1000 cars for sale.To ad in an hours drive we have 3 drag strips,6 round tracks some dirt some asphalt 1 nascar
well since the population of southern California is about the same as all of Canada..... im going with Canada...opps ....thats not in the U.S. ...........yet.....lol....... Roy
arkansa city kansas home of jeff myers and mcphail and if not here wichita starbird, ***us bros the real demons stuckey why whine about its real
Texas has a lot of them,It did not all start in California,Cali got published more because most of the magazine guys were from there. All of the old hot rod iron in California came from the cental US during the dust bowl,So yeah they possably have more of our hot rods. But Garlits went to California & spanked some but back in the day...Bonniville has to be the hot rod speed capital of the world. This sounds like a drunk arguing with himself in the mens room while ******* on his feet....This thread will forever be undesided...
Gotts to be STUCKIN, KANSAS. If yer ever Stuckin Kansas you'll figure it out. "AND THE BOWTIE ROLLS ON"
