Hell, you had these posted before I was even home....
That all steel 'A' coupe was the most amazing thing - especially the sideways tyre smoking drifts on the "cruise" to the garage. On 19" wires!
Didn't get to play in all that mud, what with the tyre police patrolling the fire up lane.
And how the hell did I get sunburnt?

 

I'm in Birmingham so it only took me an hour or so to get home
Yeah, the young lad with the fendered A was really giving it the berries. The flathead meltdown this year was one of the best. There were four known cars missing and yet there was still 12 entrants, at least four of which were new cars.

 

Yep - I was one of the "new" ones, Alan wasn't there so they cajoled me into entering. You've got a picture there of my 23T modified with the little ugly stud wheels on the rear in an attempt to gear it down - on saturday I was still in second crossing the line!
We left about 6 - rolled in the door at 10, after a few stops to check a leaky shrieking water pump.
I'll sift my pics tonight and see what I've taken.
