Hot Rod Flatz ??????

    I just painted my truck and it looks ****. Shinny ,dull, smooth, rough, and so on. ? Can i wet sand it with 1000 or scuff pad and flat clear it or start over with a non flat base coat............:mad:

    theres a few threads that talk about hot rod flatz.. you can do a search.. a lot of people have had the same results as you.. from the sounds of it.. it sounds like a pain in the *** to spray.. I was considering using this a few years back.. but i just went with a metallic basecoat.. no clear.. gave it a great satin look.. i have pics of it in my profile.. good luck. CJ

    The problem is it wasnt shook enough. My A had problems with sheen match so I just cleared it with no scuffing & it all melted in nice even & glossy. & yes search is your friend.
