Just received this about the show .."For car show participants we have goodie or swag bags that will have the usual decals, maybe a catalog, a letter of support for our sponsors / thanks for participation, a few different flyer's from places like Daddy Katz, dash plaques (hopefully), a sheet of favorite FOM drink recipes that can be tried at home, menus from Dimes Hula Shack (with info on catering your next tiki gathering), pens from Hoosier and whatever else I can throw in. Car show participants will be given a number or ticket at registration and those numbers will be put in a jar and drawn for door prizes every half-hour or so. We have some awesome door prizes from Tiki Farm, some hats from Edelbrock and a couple others, some really cool stuff from Speedway Motors, some other stuff from various sources. We have tiki mugs, embroidered "pit bags" and book bags, garage mats, a collector hat-pin set, a 12 piece screwdriver set, some ball hats...actually too many ball hats...and some other stuff. I'm still trying to secure a few t-shirts and stuff like from DuPont / CarPaint and stuff. If you don't drive off with a cool door prize, then you didn't register your car! "... This is going to be one hell of a Kool Get-together !!
keep me posed on that. have a ton of stuff to do this weekend, so i doubt i make it. always something, ya know?
Definitely a good time. A little off the beaten path, but once you get there, it has all you need ... except a designated driver. Looking forward to lounging in the parking lot tomorrow.
Nursing the car home with the sunglasses and a hangover....aaaaah, the Hula Hop was great as always! FOM and the Headhunters....Great job once again.
