Hey guys, I hate to start a new thread on something that has had to have been covered multiple times.

Any interesting ideas or photos on ignition and headlight switch mounting locations for Model As? I am going to order my switches for my '29 roadster this week. I think I may just order LimeWorks kit with the mounting plate.

I originally planned to mount that hideaway plate on the bottom rail of the dash or utilize the bolts where the cowl bolts to the body.

I tried the search function but kept coming up with more switch problems than ideas.

    Helpful replies only please. Thanks!

One of these is the ignition switch. Guess which one. :D I also have my headlight switch, fog light switch, electrical fuel pump switch, and wiper switch, all out there in plain view.

Buddy of mine put the ignition and headlights switch for his T-bucket under the seat. Worked out alright. Posted a couple of picture ideas I collected.

Put it somewhere easy to find in the dark. HRP

I guess just blasting a hole in the dash isn’t traditional anymore? :D

Every old Ford I’ve had someone just put one where it was convenient...

I made a small SS panel for my ignition and headlight switches. I wanted them out of sight. HPIM1194.JPG HPIM1195.JPG
My heater switch is next to my heater. I later upgraded to Ron Francis switches (much better quality)
