I've been into and around cars my whole life but I'm new to the hot rod scene. I've been into vintage vw's for the past 25 years. This is a whole new world. I'm building a traditional hot rod using a '35 ford tudor sedan. As usual, I'm learning a lot of things the hard way. The latest lesson I've learned is to ask what other parts will need to be modified when buying any new part. Just because the info. for the parts says "fits 35 - 48" doesn't mean it fits 35-48 without modifying this, that or the other thing or buying several more parts to make that part fit. Nothing a little, or a lot, of money can't fix though.
