Has anyone ran the Hot Rod Power Tour? My old man wants to drive the entire thing in 2016 but I'm not sure. It seems to always run on the east side of the U.S. and it a long drive from AZ just to get there. Any west coast folks here ever do it? Was it worth the miles?

Yea, I think it would be fun to run a leg, but I don't think I've ever seen it anywhere near the Pacific NW either. Seems very east-coast centric.

I'm thinking about it for 2017, still a helluva haul unless you're local. They should do it from both ways, east to west and west to east, so more people would join in the fun.

Wouldn't it be awesome to run two tours as you mentioned....but at the same time and meeting in the middle for some huge event.

I did half of one in 2000. That year, it started in San Bernadino, CA and ended in Panama City Beach, FL. It was a blast, but mostly muscle cars and late models.
