Hot Rods Hot Rod Primer (Danny ),,,is an asset to this board

Hi everybody,,,,,,my title probably doesn’t tell any of you anything you don’t already know .
Last week I had posted on some thread about a book I enjoyed reading when I was a kid back in school .
A short period later Danny sent me a PM that there was a good copy on the big E if I was interested .
I immediately went online and purchased it,,,,,,,it came in the mail just today.
Wha5 a great guy to help me with something that really wasn’t all that important,,but helped me a lot .
It is a copy of Hot Rod,,,by Henry Gregor Felsen .
It takes me back to my grade school days,,,,,

Yea Danny is OK. We both married the prettiest girl in the school (not on the same day). he's just lucky he's a little older than me and went to a different school.

Actually both of our wives have ancestry dating to before the discovery of the "New World" and if you could see a pic of Danny and Brenda and me and Edye you would not be able to distinguish which was which if you didn't know.

Brenda and Edye could be sisters and Danny and me twin cousins at the very least. It is freakin eerie.

Thanks guy's but I'm just like all of you guys, I try to help when I can, I'm good at talking, but there are so many more members here that can help with specific information when it comes to build engines and a mired of others that seem to be experts in all aspects of hot rod & custom building.

You don't realize how busy I keep the moderators.

Seriously, the Hamb good moderators and they do a darn good job riding heard over all the hoodlums here and do a great job keeping the lunatics in line. HRP

 

If you check out Danny's profile, and look through his albums till you get to the one dedicated to the restoration of Brenda's Ranch Wagon, skip to page 45 and then flip back to where the car was pulled out of the barn to start the project, look at all of the 390 pictures and captions he posted as the progress continued and you will see that he is truly a dedicated, Hot Rod " hamboholic" in the truest sense of the definition of that word, as it pertains to the HAMB.

All of the albums he has posted, that is one hell of a compilation of photographs and automotive information over a long period of time!
