Gotta have some rake: These are some of mine, one was a brothers,(rebuilt by Tim) and a famous coupe & roadster as well. (Bro Bob’s Tub - Tim in Aptos gave it attitude). (Built by Dale Caulfield). (Built by me). (Same truck different attitude a couple of years later). (The T-Ster) (Rubber Rake) (OHV 32 Bell-Cragar axle Reversed eye-Mono Leaf Front Semi-Elliptical Rear). (Bob McGee Bitchen!) (P-Wood Prowler)-Cal Rake. (Mor-Drop-Hollywood Spring & Axle) (Fired-Up!!!! Pete, Pete & Jake). (The Chapouris Squat) Mor-Drop Front Axle. (Lorenzini Low). Most all of these cars have one thing in common. Pete & Jake’s........There were Hot Rods that sat right before these Kats, but the team really did set a good example for stance.
My F-100 has what I call a “Northwest rake “. I use it for picking up leaves [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I always thought this 37 Plymouth Slant Back that I once owned had a good rake and stance to it. I didn't build it, bought it and drove it awhile before I decided it was just a little too street rod for my taste.
