Will be there Thursday morning and leaving Sunday morning....in my 34 Plymouth

 

Me and my sidekick will be heading out thursday morning.
He may be more excited than i am (if thats possible)
staying in the campground

I am trying my best to get their to race.......but as of last night...I dropped off my converter for an adjustment, the engine and trans sits on the floor in front of the Truck and the heads are being fixed again...since what was said to have be done was not fully done the first time around.....part of my problem why I have been chasin my tail on the tune up this year.......If all works out I will have to put my heads on up together in the trailer @ Bowling Green.........Goodtimes, Littleman

For those of you from out of town who want something other than the regular burger and fries, there's a fairly good restaurant by the name of "The Catfish House" and its specialty, of course, is southern style fried catfish, fries (or baked potato), cole slaw (vinegar or milk style), fried okra, and white beans, along with hush puppies and homemade pies. You can order other items that aren't fried and are non-fish, but why else would you go to a place specializing in fish if you wanted chicken?!! The owner puts on a small cruise-in on Monday nights and is very car-friendly. It's just off I-65 on Scottsville road. Turn to the East and take your 1st left onto Cumberland Trace Road if you're coming from the interstate or crossing it from the West. It's just down from the Harley dealership and on the right. Not trying to advertise for anyone, but I've been to a bunch of car shows/events and wound up eating burgers and hot dogs all weekend. If you see me, you'll be able to tell!

^ Not sure if it's the same place we went to once but they had outdoor seating and live music. We had a good time.

There is a good BBQ rib place in town called Smokey Bones. Kinda chain-ish but good food. I might be found there a time or two over the weekend.

speaking of i-65,any of youse guys heading north thru alabama on thursday.head out myself sometimes tomorrow.prob in the a.m. since ye old weather man says it's gonna hit 96 here.and even with all windows down vents open and vent windows turned in the el camino is still hot
