First time attending this year and had to p*** on what a great event it was! Went down with Billetproof dude and we got the oppurtunity to see some amazing historic rails I've only seen previously in magazines and books. Besides the amazing cars I got the oppurtunity to speak and party with some amazing people and I was completely blown away by everyones generousity!!! This is one event I will never miss again!!!!! We saw old friends and made tons of new ones. It felt like we were introduced to everyone there. We were treated like family by everyone we met. Free food, free beer and complete warm hospitality. We didn't spend a penny on food or drinks and weren't allowed to leave pits until we'd had our fill of each. I was even asked if it would be allright if one of the top fuelers could run some of the Billetproof stickers I was giving out. ****ing AMAZING! Of course I said hell yes! Dirty pointed out that, at 230mph, the stickers went faster than I'll probably ever go. ****ing lucky stickers. I think we got a total of 7 hours sleep the whole weekend and added many empty beer cans to the pile. Literally thousands of great people all together digging the same thing.......OG hotrodding and racing. Also, I couldn't believe how many old timers who have been in it since day one, either knew about or came to Billetproof and had nothing but glowing comments about the show. Very inspiring. I ran into lots of HAMBers who all had the same funny comments about some recent posts and nothing but great feedback and support. But I won't go into that. So, thank you to the well organized hosts of the event and the crews, drivers and old timers who made us part of thier families all weekend. Best car event I've EVER attended, period. Did I mention Cackle-fest? Holy **** that was cool!
BTW, neither of us remembered a camera. That's why there are no pics. It was kind of nice though, not having to carry one around.
