In my spare time I have been working on a few projects. I've been using auto cad to make some simple hot rod silhouettes . These little cars work great for mail box toppers, fire rings, wall hangers . Anything really . I cut them out on a high def plasma table. Usually when I see a car I like I take a few photos of it and when I get to it , I draw a cool side view that would look good cut out of steel. Here are a few photos of what I have been doing. The first pic is fire rings. The will be rolled to 30" diameter. This is the perfect back yard size. The rest are mail box toppers or anything you can use them for . I hand built my own entire mail box, stand and topper to look like my model a. I have my model a coupe, mat thrashers 34 ford truck, my 34 3 window , Chris Evans sedan, and several other generic cars . I'm working on making some newer stuff also . Trucks and station wagons . My buddy SAMs 29 sedan , banger powered with an ansen Intake , single. Stromberg. 97 and a little air scoop, And a few V8 symbols I use , This stuff is a lot more detailed in real life, but I'm zoomed way out on the part so you can see it all . Here is my high def plasma doing a fire ring for a fiend of mine. I cut things with a low amperage head and a slow cut rate to show off details that are drawn into the part. A lot of people buy DFX patterns. I hand draw this stuff .
