    I love the engine! Nice to see someone do a flathead and not get crazy with chrome headed nuts! Simple and clean, but still dressy, not gawdy.

    . . . but I do have my 5W that I can drive out to Utah.

    what wireing block did you use? is it a universal kit or just a block bought seperatly?

    I tried out one of the Speedway 12 circuit harnesses, I wound up taking it half apart. It had fuses and wires for stuff like power antenna, power windows, a/c, etc. . .

    Next time it's back to making my own harness.

    I thought about the alternator, and went back and forth between painting it black, or just leaving it bare aluminum.

    In the end, I thought it blended in better with the aluminum intake and heads if I just left it alone. . . and sometimes things look worse when you try to hard to hide them, painting it may have made it look worse in this case.

    Here's what a disguised alt looks like. It almost disappears. At least you didn't install a chrome one.
    Your attention to detail is awesome.
