When I was about six, My grandma bought me a 1/20 scale kit of some 60s show rod(think it was the Chuckwagon?) I used the slicks, wheels and blower on my tonka Jeep Wagoneer. IIRC, I think I probably used tape? Made lots of chizzler noises as I pushed it around.

My dad's Hubley's Hot Rods that he built way back: I have two Hubley kits to build as hot rods, a Model A coupe and a touring. Working on the touring currently. Plan to eventually display them with my Dad's. Also on the lookout for other unbuilt kits so my son can build one for the display too.

WOW! These toy car threads keep coming up from time to time, but I always love them. I too have a ton of toy cars and enjoy displaying them in the shop. Will try to get some pics up, but am enjoying viewing all of YOURS!
Man, I thought building a few model cars was crazy enough, but the collections some of you have... somebody's Coo Coo for Cocoa Puffs. These are the kits that changed my world.. pix from previous posts. But as a youngster I didn't know how to paint anything but the tires black so all my kits Deuce kits ended up OEM red styrene. When 3n1 AMT Deuces came out, I abandoned the teeny Revell 1/32 kits. Gary
