History Hot Rod truck thread!

To the guys that think my 41 is ruined. Good for you. My friend built it in the 80's. He chopped the top himself and when he did it V-****ed windshields were popular. I plan to do something about that but it's not on the top of the list. The ol' truck has been beating around for 30 odd years and yeah it needs some work. But it is a "hot rod" truck. Please show me yours. Personally if I don't like what I'm looking at I move on and not bag on it. But maybe that's just me.

the chin nerf bar is a cool touch.i like the colours and how it sits ,but its overchopped for me

Hey UNCLECHET . I like the 2nd pic and the windshield looks fine...must have been the angle in the 1st pic that made it look a little odd.

SO, I retract my previous statement...and will call it 1% ****ed up (V-****ed windshield) and 99% cool *** '40 pickup.

 

For some reason this chevy doesn't look like a "55"!!

That series continued half way into 55, lots of times you see the 55-59 listed as 55.2-59 or 55.5-59
