    Got the 39 chevy moving along. Picking up parts every weekend. Engine is back from the machine shop. Engine kit is here. Chop is half way done. Saturday will start putting the motor together. Here are some pics of the progress.

    More of the chop complete. Put the new disc bracke set up on to mock up the front end.

    That chop looks great!Nice work.You must have a good teacher.David Perry's book,HOT ROD Pin-ups,has a similar Chevy in it.If you haven't seen it,check it out.Wish I had a scanner!

    I just love taking an old part and bringing it back to life. Nothing you can't do with a little elbo grease.

    The project looks very good. And the chop is just right. Not too much, not too litte. Keep us updated.

    Chop is perfect! Take your time and dont get burned out on it keep pluggin away at it!

    Finished the back end today. Mocked up the air bags. Tomorrow channel the cab.

    Channeled the Cab a couple inches. Frame lays on the floor. Air bags will lift it up 8" plus. Shes getting there. Diamond in the rough.

    Bobbed 18" off the bed. Mocking it up for brackets. Want to get the right propotion between front and back tires.

    Got the motor under way. Installed the pistons yesterday. Seemed to have misplaced my woodruff key for the Crank. Anyone know where I can pick one of these up? It's a 1953 322 Nailhead out of a RoadMaster.

    Heads are on and shes coming along. Hopefully get my welder this week and start on the suspension.
