    Nope, but the idea is sound, so long as you use a torque arm.

    a steel plate, a threaded bung and a heim ..I think you could make one for less than the $110 they are asking. About $25 worth of materials maybe

    I know the Smith brothers the are real rodders .They build drive and race cars .
    I know they are more about making good products than selling parts .If you have any concerns about what the make give em a call .

    I guess you haven't priced a high strength 3/4" "heim" lately.

    I've used Hot Rod Works for several things including a build. Top notch guys.

    I have that same setup going into my '40 pickup with one of their quick change rear ends. I also am using their torque arm. If you don't use the torque arm, you are asking for trouble. All of their products are high quality.

    I'm using their rear end open -drive change over kit and a torque rod.
     
  12. Great kit and well worth the price. DOM and high quality heims are not cheap anymore.
