Did a little research, I was thinking this was the car Casner co-drove with Masten Gregory and won Nurburgring in, it's not, it's the car Casner owned and Masten Gregory and Chuck Daigh dnf'd with at Le Mans.

Tom, thanks for all of your pics (of anything!). Especially happy to see the 3wLarry/Bruce Meyer deuce terrorizing the tour. Job well done, Bruce!

This is the HAMB (1 of 1).jpg 1966 Bizzarrini Manta Concept.

Giorgetto Guigiaro formed Italdesign, then started this car and delivered the prototype to the Turin Motor Show 40 days later. Built on Bizzarrini P538 ch***is #3.

One of the things Bruce does is make sure he honors the previous or original owner of any car that he is a care taker of. He understands the importance of their efforts and makes sure that they are remembered. I had a conversation with Neal East not long after he sold the Doane Spencer car to Bruce, and how that swung him in favor of the sale. We need more more guys like Bruce with the respect and p***ion he has for our history, both hot rod and original a good eggs all around.

This car reminds me of what Eric Anderson built recently in Austin, Texas, at Austin Speed Shop. He is a young, up and coming fabricator(he did Ron Covell-type work on his '24) who will definitely leave a legacy when he checks out.

    What's fake about it? It's a real supercharger. It's not a traditional power plant, but I don't think Rob gives a ****.

What makes you think that? Any more real than the fake ARDUN covers on the late engine?

It is on public roads. This year there was a fire in the Big Sur area and they had to re-route say from there. The roads were hardly traveled at all during that early hours of the tour.

This V16 MILLER is one of the finest restorations out there, done by the late Chuck Davis of Chicago. He bought the frame and axles, then tracked down everyone that had owned the car in the past. One guy had the body and tail in a loft, the engine had been cut in half to make two V8's. Sounds as good as it looks. Bob

Just after taking this photo a guy on my left pointed out the three portholes on the side to his buddy, and said it was a Buick. Walked to the front to confirm it and was shocked to find out it was a Ferrari. Bob DSCF4510.JPG
