I think it's Billy Butlin who owned the holiday camps

Yes, you are correct, I'll have to Google that, some how I don't think they were log cabins in the woods. Bob

you know whats interesting, I mean this is a restored indy car at Pebble Beach, so YOU KNOW the carbs are correct, yet the younger guys on the HAMB will say that 94's aren't really as "traditional" as 97's. Hmmmmm.

I don't usually think in terms of "Tribute cars" but gotta wonder how it would look if you built a '26/'27 T roadster that paid homage to these cars. Maybe paint scheme minus the numbers, grill shell and hood, front axle fairings and similar cowl with a bit of a stretch in the nose? Gotta have the wheels, they would set you back some, could be pretty cool though.

The one thing I found myself NOT doing at Pebble Beach was looking for flaws, or things that may not be correct on the cars. The sheer beauty of everything just blew me away. I think the Miller Fords ran stock factory heads in the '35 500. Most of them ran at INDY for many years, I'm just glad to see one when I can. Bob

I think the Grancor Special that Andy Granatelli crashed in qualifying the one and only time he tried driving at Indy was a re-vamped Miller Ford? Tried to find a pic online, but couldn't.
Forgot I had this, a pic of the restored engine in the #23 car, it had ford aluminum heads.

The great thing about the HAMB is the fact that it allows me to share all this stuff I've collected all these years. Bob

Yes, maybe I'm thinking some of the same things.
    1. That steering wheel spent very little time in the direct sunlight over the years.
    2. NOS.
    3. A one off newly cast replacement was beaucoup bucks to have made.

I can see how that bracket failed and sidelined them with steering problems. Bob

I remember reading that those cars were finished at the last minute, and Mr. Miller was less than happy with the whole deal. That really looks like an afterthought.
