Thank god for the HAMB :D

That car is awesome, along with any car worthy of that show.

  3. Anyone get pics of the 3 Alfa Romeo BAT cars together? Supposed to be the first time they've been together for over 10 years.

If your invited to Pebble Beach you get in FREE!!!

Do know there are people on the HAMB that have been invited......

  5. It's the car that gets invited to be more accurate!

And once you're in, you're ******ed to your parking spot....and given your little leather-bound portfolio with display placard....and introduced to your cl*** host.....****, I'm just jeaous, really. Would love to go there one day.....doubt they'd invite me (or my car) though!! I'll have to wait until they have a "****box" cl***....

Last time I saw this Rolls-Royce it was in the ba*****t of the Petersen Museum, looks great now that it is restored. Owner is the founder of HOT ROD, Bob Petersen.

******ed to your parking spot? Listen... more than once I've had time to swing a tire turning gr*** ripping brodie..... I may do it some day and tell'em my foot slipped of the clutch

If you think it's all rich guys....... wrong! There are always a couple normal guys obsessed with cars that have been lucky enough to find and restore a
great car.The last car I showed there was lost for 30 years...took me 7 years to find and 6 years to restore.

I have never shown a car for judging there only display.... Me sayin' ''I don't need your trophy I'm here to share my car with everyone and have a good time'' I doubt that many folks showing know or care that they have that option. It makes it a much nicer day.AND I don't have to wear a Stanley Blacker blazer and Cole Hanns

Yo can say what you want about big money cars at that show, but Wow there is some cool stuff, That rolls just makes my brain go into overload with ideas, Everything but the tail fin. That Red delahayee that was a there a few years ago was the best I have ever seen.

If you look in the back ground of the 3 window pic that is a rear 3/4 view you see Rick Dore in the background.

    Hey Yorga,
Maybe we could base out at your place .
Getting a group of the more refined HAMB'ERs together for a trip out there next year.
We'll be bringing lots of Shiner Bock, and fried chicken ,hope they wont mind if we throw the bones at all the cars we think are too "frumpy"..
Some of the guy's are lighweight drinkers and are prone to sporadic throwing up, some are pretty crude, especially when there are fat ugly women around.
We'll try to Keep the music turned down, probably ,maybe ,no,not gonna happen,we like it loud and nasty.
Entry money is not a problem .
Let us know when we can arrive.
    Do you like dog's?.......

  15. Thanks for the BAT pics Caddydave. They're some seriously inspired cars.....if only I was able to appreciate them better back when I was studying automotive styling!!

    The JACK is BACK!

How great to see this inspired -- and inspirational -- car, back in the light of day! Congratulations on the win, to all of those involved in its restoration.

And thanks to Mr. Calori for the excellence of his original vision!

It's an Alfa Romeo 6c 2500 most likely with a Pinin Farina body.

I had the pleasure of going to Pebble Beach once when it was $40; It was so crowded you could barely see the cars. It's an incredibly beautiful setting there.

    Thanks for clearing this up.

In the meantime I came across some more photo's of the custom cars at this concours. Unfortunately they are rather small, but some of them are absolutely georgious.

How about the Ralph Jilek '40 Ford in motion.

This must be the BEST ever photo I have seen of Kurt McCormick's Barris built '41 Buick.

    Perfect...

Buddy Ohanesian's Westergard Bertolucci built '40 Merc in motion.... aaaaaah

The award winning Jack Colori '36 Ford.

Bob Greasman's recently restored '40 Ford.
