How about throwing up some pics on your way to shows, hangout nights, or hell even on your way to the liquor store. Heres one on the way to Heavy Rebel Weekender the other week.
We ran 3 years at Calif. Speedway when the Goodguys used to do Pomona. First two years sucked. They paced us in groups of 10 behind a tow truck. Barely got to the speed limit. I don't know what happend the last year in 2000, but they sent us out for 5 laps, and said " use your own judgement"! Did the first few laps around what I guessed 85 to 90. Model A spedo stops at 75. Last lap, what the hell, going down the back stretch I put the hammer down. The second pic is just past half way to turn 3. Motor pulling hard, 3.05 gear, bout the time I started thinkin' we ought to have a roll bar in here, the ass end got real light in the famous Fontana cross wind. Got shit in my neck and lifted. Plugged the gear, RPM and tire dia. into the trusty Isky "Dream Wheel", and came up with 118 mph. Bout as fast as I ever want to drive it with out a cage around me.
