Will the spindle mounts make another appearance?

Idiot or not, Either way you post some cool shit regardless, props are due!

As for the stance, I think I'm off on the 5.00/5.25, looking at dropping down to the 4.75. What do you think?

Jeem, those spindle mounts belong to Hubcap1 (posted earlier in the thread) who is also in the picture with that snazy T shirt. They are going on his '28 A pick up.

Personally I like the front tires a little bigger. I like 6.00's up front most of the time, however I am running 5.50's on my '35. If it were me I wouldn't change a thing. Looks damn near perfect as is. I mean PERFECT!

Are you running 16" front and 15" in the rear? If so what size tire out back?

That’s where I’m at too. I always thought the perfect combo was 6.00-16/7.00-16 on an A or ‘32 (see Rolf’s Model A coupe); or 6.00-16/6.50-16 on a smaller bodied car like a T (see Isky’s roadster).

Yeah, I even like the scallops (in layout, if not in color).

Glad to be following this build!

16's all the way around. The rear is 7.50-16.

It's more of the size of whitewall in the front compaired to the much larger rear thats bothering me, more so than the tread difference.

The over diameter of the 4.50/75 over 5.00/25 is only .30 smaller but you gain 1/2 inch of whitewall. I'm leaning on going that direction to keep the same stance?

I love the shots of the guys in their open toed "Safety Shoes" welding, grinding, cutting all with wreckless abandon in their thongs (oops I guess we have say flip flops now). Anyway brought back fond memories of hot slag between the toes and the endearing smell of burning leg hair. Great work and project by the way.

Great progress so far, but I do agree that the slight mis-match in ww width F to R could be improved. It such a minor thing though.
Otherwise, it a huge improvement on its previous life.
    Keep up the good work.

I really dig the nerf bar what about adding anotherbar abover or below that attaches at the ends like on the front? Either way it looks cool just like it is! Are you gonna run those tail lights or swap em out?

Thanks! We thought about adding that but it would get in the way of the license plate frame if it went above. Same tail lights minus the blue dots.

Sorry for the slow updates, life gets in the way sometimes. The weather has cooled down so its time to hit the garage again.

New tires are on the front, better proportion now I think.

And finally the new dash.... The two rough looking holes will be filled.

Looking great. What size are the front tires now?

  25. Are you serious? Oval window VW dash in a 32? Really? I like it.

TexasSpeed: They are 600-16's now. 7.50 in the back.

  27. Awesome on the dash. That is what I did in my coupe only the glove box and ash try though. For taillights I used the egg lights and reversed them into the panel below the trunk lid. Keep updates coming.

Looks real good. When I saw you at the swapmeet yesterday I had not seen this thread. Had no idea you were building this. I would have like to come over after the swap and looked at the project. Next time I will. Looks good. Nice chassis work . You guys are welcome at my shop too in Tucson.
