HOTROD-A-RAMA 2006 PICS and Thanks!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by curbspeed, Aug 6, 2006.

  1. Thanks to a lot of you that showed up this weekend for the 5th Annual HOTROD-A-RAMA that was held this weekend in Tacoma Wash. The show was a complete success. We have some growing pains to deal with and we think we have some answers to address the problems. Weather was really good. Not to hot. The bands kicked some serious ass this year. Mezcal Bros. and Saddle Tramps were awesome. Super nice guys too. 1/4 Mile Combo was very good as well. We had a lot of good Top Fuel cars and other drag cars there this year. I'll let the pictures do the talking. King of the HOTROD-A-RAMA trophy turned out super cool. Built by a club member Thank you! Dale Seaholm

Thanks again for the great attendance. It is all of you that make it better. Building more great cars and spreading the word. It is great to see how far people come just to hang out with us. This is a very special event that Dale has brought together. We all work hard to make it what it is but Dale is the driving force. This is something that will be here for a while. Thanks again to all of you.

  10. Yeah, I too had a great time. BS'ed with some HAMBers and ran into a few other people I knew from other forums. I dug that flat black '34 with black steelies

  11. I didn't take very many pics this year. The FEDs were cool to see. I also like this Buick a lot.

  12. Thanks Steve(ironbuyer). Couldn't do it without you buddy. Steve is in charge of the Top Fuel cars at the show. This years Fuel cars were the best! We should get some national press on the show this year.

  13. Dale it was a great show. Just keeps getting better. You and the Mischief Makers put on a fantastic event. Thank you for the good times. Keith

Hotrodarama was a blast, thanks to Dale, Steve and all the other Mischief Makers for putting on a great show. All us Canuck's got together at ratstu's (Laurie's) place after our drive home to watch some video and pics from the event, what a blast. Great cars, music and people, looking forward to next year.

I'm still recovering, myself. It just keeps getting better, every year, Dale!

Really low-key, too, for the size of the show this year. At least from my view. The Mischief Makers really have their shit together, making it run smoothly.

Thanks for the great show. My ears are still ringing, and my eyes look like a Roth monster's.

    Thanks,
    Jake

  22. Thanks to Dale, Steve and the others.

My first but not the last! Well worth the 800 mile trip from Montana. Thanks again, first class event.

This was easily the coolest car show I have been to in the NW. My favorite was the 37 Ford PU w the Hudson grill. Going to an event like this really motivates me to build one of my own soon. The cars were sweet the girlz were all hottied up, old kodgers were gettin' housed and rockin' out I could have stayed all day but my dog was too hot.

This shot is cool... with the vertical hood vents and lines of the grille contrasting with the horizontal lines in the door...
