East Coast Style? Try snow tires and chains.

I've got a brand new set of 4 1947 FORD small hubcaps I never used. They are reproduction stainless steel with the word FORD painted red. They look nice on the oldies. Let me know and I will try and email a photo. [IMG]

I've got four small 49 Chevy caps with the little bow-tie emblem in the middle...

...they feature LOTS of genuine, authentic, real 100% legitimate rust, grime and patina!

I'm using chrome wheels...if ya want them caps!! [IMG] [IMG]

speedway has most if not all the same wheel covers mooneyes has, and they're cheaper. I got mine form them and they were either $30 or $40 cheaper. www.speedwaymotors.com

With no parts newer than '59, I would use a mid '50s full wheel cover. Not a spinner but something cool.
I used '55 Packards w/ Moon bullets in the centers.

Rule of thumb for forties to fifties style: stay away from anything that has five spokes.

    These will work:

  9. Here's a set with blue letters.

I originally ordered a set of 41 Ford covers from Drake, but they didn't fit my wheels.
These were purchased at the local steel wheel house.

Fwiw: there are extra long drag race type studs in the rear axle - including the through nuts - and they fit under the hubcaps just fine.

  10. Here's a pic of the studs mentioned.

The rear wheels are 6 x 15" with 3" backspacing.
