I was made aware of this event by Hamber @mgermca a while back and did make the 2.5 hour journey to check it out...I had fun, met @Ziggster and some other friends and took in the event...it was in our next door neighbour's province known as "La Belle Province" and it truly is... It was formally hosted in a Town called Rigaud but was relocated to Couteau Du Lac... Anyways here are some pics I took...being we are pretty particular with content I focused on those that fell into Hamb friendly and I'm happy there was both Hotrods and C/Kustoms...Any content not meeting the criteria...let me know or feel free to edit... ...this was pretty much the drive there, field farms and forest...charming, quiet and without traffic...awesome...temps were not too hot and a breeze was present as well... Hotrod ran well with no issues...
Nice cross section, thanks for taking us along. The white hardtop really caught my eye, and the Hudson was hard to miss. Thanks again.
Thanks Dayslate, it was nice to catch it with the hood down. I have more pics to come but somethings preventing that but Ryan has someone tackling that now...
Hamber @screwball and his son Vincent run a real great display and swap spot. They are local to me and I've been getting to know them over the last few shows...
...this was the featured pinstripers booth...a young lady was doing the eyeballs on this shoebox so I suspect they are a duet...nice work...
North America...encompasses the whole gamut me thinks...Let me look that up eh. Yupp...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_America
Thanks for sharing @Stogy. Waay more pics than what I took. Show was definitely very impressive. Live music going into the night, dance area, food, alcohol/beer, barber shop, and pin striping booth. Haha! Will be back next year and maybe with the speedster. lol!
Just a few more stray images I had a discussion with @mgermca about garnish fasteners at a show prior to this one and in true Hamb fashion he had some left over from his top notch build and gifted them to me...thank you greatly Mark... ... @daylatedollarshort this and the 59, 60 Chev Lowriders were a Montreal based club and evidenced by a sizable presence of lowered rides many that I left out due to OT wheels and tires which is unfortunate and something the Hotrod crowd also is out in droves due to same. Many times the only thing vintage is the body as the rest is all modern...I can't dictate period choice however it just limits my sharing of what I saw. I was happy I went as there were a number of rides I've never seen before and there is a group that embrace the vintage past as we do in La Belle Province and it's not too far away from me... This Rumble offered plenty of live entertainment with I believe 5 high caliber bands...Link Wray Rumble was wafting through the air fittingly...the couple above were quite talented dancers...I understand the show went on till 11pm.
https://v8passion.com/en/ https://www.facebook.com/share/r/15yY9YR2qc/ ...Just on a side note this Deuce plated "TROG" has definately done that walk...it's owner is a passionate auto enthusiast and actually publishes a Magazine in french only, mind you and his blog/site at the link above is in both french/english and was shared with me by @Ziggster...
Glad you captured her at work...yeah they have to be pretty darn careful where they step...linkages, hoses but I'm sure they're used to this. Yeah, poste'm up @Ziggster and anyone else that wants to share please do...
Don’t really have anything else to add. Looking back at all your pics, I have to say it was a great show for HAMB friendly rides. In a couple weeks, I’ll be back in Montreal and will see if I can track down a copy of that Quebec mag.
