Hot Rods Hotrod Needs Exhaust and Alignment

Hello.

I live in Metro Detroit and my 39 Hudson Coupe needs custom exhaust and a front end alignment.
Do you guys have any recommendations for a shop or independent mechanic in Metro Detroit that could do the work?
The Hudson has a Chrysler 360 and a Mustang II front end.

You are going to wish you had been more specific with that request

 

You might want to change that to aftermarket or later independent. Some of the moderators get their undies in a nasty knot when the MII thing is mentioned even though on that car you would have to be far too snoopy to see it.
The big problem with aligning that front end on some cars is that you can't get to the control arm to make the adjustments easily and aftermarket doesn't usually drill the hole to use the designed for the job alignment tool.
Exhaust should just be the go to for good custom exhaust muffler shop in your area. Some just flat do better work than others, at least in this area. The guys I go to do some pretty nice work while the guys down the street from them are hit and miss. They can when they really want to but most of the time it is slap it together and kick it out.
