I still don't know how to post a picture but you can see my 48 F-1 at - http://community.webshots.com/s/image3/4/29/29/17242929LoILEDTYdC_fs.jpg It's Caddy powered with a 425.
that willys is BAD***!!!!!!!!! Pork..... I think my tank is a water tank out of some kinda RV, i bought it at a swap meet for 10 bux, patched it, added "legs", filler, and sump ... etc... LUKESTER
Here's Salcheeza's big block powered ride. On the tailgate, it says "there's more to life than gas mileage"
Luckster, Thanks for the info on the tank. I keep vasilateing between hiding mine under the bed or a putting one in the bed. Just can't bring myself to go the beerkeg route. Burnt out on 'em when they were cool. Yours just looks right.
pakrat just seen ya truck and that is real sweet man ,just like a real hotrod truck should be..............Mad Marq
hers my daily driver from 2 years ago,i sold it to my buddy s****s in ohio. he sold it to someone around Pittsberg PA.
heres the new daily driver p/u, its hibernating for winter but cant wait to get it out asap! i miss it. alot of my friens are surprised i still ownit cause i usaully sell my cars after one season and build another for the next, but i like this one.
by the way I know it is not rodded yet but it will be as time and money allows, First I need to find someone to build me a ch***is.
24tratrod, What ya need to find is someone willing to help YOU build your own ch***is. There's LOTS of talented guy's down by you. It's cheeper, and when your done, not only did you learn something, you have the satisfaction of saying "i built it". It may not be easy for ya, but nothing worth while is Then, you can take build up pics and post 'em for us to see your progress!!! Marq, thanks. Rat..
PakRat32 I know how to build the ch***is, I am not confident with my welding skills to do a frame. I need a ch***is built for that one and I also need a T bucket style ch***is built for the '24 TT. The only thing I am not sure about is what kind of front crossmember to use on the '25. I want to make it a retrostyle truck with a few modern additions.
Hey Marcus, your '60 is bad as hell! Do you happen to know of a long fleet that vintage for sale? Or just a bed? We've been looking for a good bed for awhile now. We're in the south bay too. HeavyChevy, your AD is just awesome! I've been wondering how to make mine look real cool and you've nailed it. Keep it up guys, these are some seriously awesome trucks. I'll post pics of my '40 as it gets going, but I have to figure out how to crop pics as my files are too large to post.
Heavychevy- When I first saw your truck in Sherman I got an instant stiffie! That thing is **** diesel! HC
