im shootin for friday after noon around 4:00 or 5:00 leaving from brier or edmonds

 

We're leaving Wed night after work and headin' south. it's roughly a 14 hr drive, so that gives us 24hrs to get there with 10 or so hours for rest, gas stops, and breakdowns (knocking on wood as I type this)

Can't wait to see some of the bad*** cars I know will be there.

 

Well, the Hotrod-A-Rama "pre-party" at AMOCAT this weekend was a ton of fun. Time to head out into the garage to make some changes to the Hudson...

My starter went on the weekend, hoping to have that squared away by tonight...but whats worse is my buddies '47 had a rock puncture his rad, and the rad wasn't 'economical to repair' so he's got his fingers crossed that his will make it here in time to get it swapped in!

we're gonna make it though, come hell, high water or broke-*** cars!

 

Very much looking forward to this one. It's been a great summer for shows. I just need to find something to drive

 

just found out i have to go to alaska to work on aboat wednesday there goes the time to work on the car to get it going oh ya and i have a hockey turniment this weekend LAME i miss hotrodarama yet again

 

I'm rollin down in my 64, ugly, my 301 aint done yet, and i havent been able to return it to 100% traditional but it is closer than most

Anyone got a pair of 6 or 7 in wide peaked Chev pattern american mags they are lookin to sell this week?? i gotta ditch the camero wheels that were on it when i got it

getting close ! Friday and Saturday should be a great time ! look forward to The Swindlers showing off some of those new Streetrods, since I had heard it was the new thing to do ! Don't forget to pack the displays, and charge the batteries in the golf carts, cuz that 6volt battery in my 49 Ford won't be able to jump them ! LOL just kidding look forward to seeing you all again this weekend !

Most of the vintage roadsters, sprints and midgets will be at Southsound Speedway at Tenino on Friday and Saturday Aug 1-2.
All day Friday and Saturday morning till noon time trials with racing Saturday night.

 

How about some directions to the show. heading from Kent.. (or from I-5 south if that is the best way to get there) and what time do folks start getting there

Arrived in LA today from Australia, will be leaving LA in the morning to drive up, I cant wait. Im so lucky I get to do this on my Honeymoon.

What time can pre-registered cars come in on Saturday?

 

I know I keep saying this but I swear ...My roadster will be done next year.Headin' down on friday with a friend in his wagon.See ya there.

 

what time are people heading down on fri??

 

We will start about 7:30. Un-registered cars will start around 8:00 to 8:30. It all depends on how fast the vendors can get set up. They have 2 hours so we should be OK. Thanks
